Yeah, I had to bring Sally into the game, especially with the general plan I have for this story. And if anyone can get some datas for Peter, it's her (not to mention that I loved her in "Taking Account" XD).
Garcia is, next to the Unit Chief Aaron Hotchner, the only character in CM that I really love. She's a ray of sunshine in their dark world, or as Morgan puts it so nicely in an episode, "a god-given solace". First of all, I had an OMC, somehow built after Oliver Queen from "Arrow" in my mind, but then I remembered Penny's group for victims and their families, and decided that she would do a far better job. Another fact that was in her favor was that Jones is quite the computer guy, the nerd on the show who can sputter off technical details. Since Penelope is quite the same, I thought that maybe these two met at a FBI conference and became friends.
Oh yeah, that's pretty much a given thing with me. "My" Neal is very capable of taking care of himself and being able to put up some resistance. He doesn't go down without a fight, especially when he's lead to believe (or in some cases actually knows) that people who are dear to him are in mortal danger. That's why he has so much faith in Peter and the team. "His" people are their people - so they will do anything possible (and impossible) to solve the case and get him back.
*evil Jack Nicholson grin* just had to do that - but I can tell you right now that there's a very fluffy happy end in the books, for all the good girls and gals. Neal and a few other characters get whumped, but there's major character death in there.
