Who are you named after?
No one. No joke, but my parents were convinced they would have a boy, so they only had kind of an emergency list of girl names. And since I was born prematurely (March 29 instead of May 13), they even forgot to tell the nurses to put my maternal grandmother's name Martina as my middle name.
Last time you cried?
a couple of days ago, when real life problems threatened to swallow me whole. But I always feel better afterwards, see things clearer.
Do you like your handwriting?
Yeah, it's quite okay. Though I can see the evolution when I stumble over old notes (and try to figure them out!)
What is your favorite lunch meat?
Pork roast (with dumplings and the Austrian edition of a cole slaw)
Longest relationship?
Does a love-hate relationship with your computer count? If yes, then let me tell you we are "together" for about six years now.
Do you still have your tonsils?
Yep. And according to my doctors they still look quite okay ;)
Would you bungee jump?
Hell FUCKING NO! (sorry, milly, but your answer is just too good to pass!)
Favorite kind of cereal?
I'm not exactly into brands, but give me anything with chocolate and nuts, and I'm a happy camper.
Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?
Nope, I only have one pair to tie, and I hardly wear them (only when it rains)
Favorite ice cream?
Vanilla, maybe in combination with Coffee and/or Chocolate.
What is the first thing you notice about a person?
the eyes, followed by the way they hold themselves (is the person self-confident or not). I also like to look out how they treat other people (especially when I'm meeting someone in a public place, like a café, and they have to interact with the waiting staff. Pretty interesting.)
Football or baseball?
Nope. Formula 1 during the summer, alpine skiing and ski-jumping during the winter. (I only watch that all on TV). My father was a huge soccer fan, so throughout all my childhood my mother and I were subjected to long evenings in the kitchen while he was watching yet another soccer game ;)
What color pants are you wearing?
Dark grey
Last thing you ate?
Take-out kebab with French fries, yogurt sauce and salad.
What are you listening to?
Bill Haley - Rock Around The Clock (on my local radio station)
If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
Sparkly purple with extra flaky bits! (milly, we're so similar! XD)
What is your favorite smell?
Fresh mown grass OR fresh brewed coffee
Who was the last person you talked to on the phone?
my dermatologist's assistant, since I missed the date and had to reschedule (luckily they had a later spot open the same day)
Married?
Nope, and I'm not exactly desperate to change that so soon. (I'm currently single!)
Hair color?
chestnut brown with some dark blonde highlights
Eye color?
Grey-green - kind of rare combination
Favorite foods to eat?
Anything Italian (must be in my DNA - I have Italian ancestors), Asian; basically, you can't go wrong with either pasta or rice with me - I'm easy that way ;)
Scary movies or happy ending?
I would say both, though I would choose the happy ending over the scary one XD
Last movie you watched?
X-Men: First Class (on TV)
What color shirt are you wearing?
a touch lighter in color than my pants - grey.
Favorite holiday?
Christmas - think of all the cookies ;) I have very fond memories of my mother making 20 and more different cookies, starting in November. And besides, I usually have my birthday close to Easter, and that always was a bummer when I was a kid ;)
Beer or wine?
I hardly drink alcohol in general, but if I have too, I'll have some wine (no real preference to the color, though I tend to get more tired when I have a red one)
Night owl or morning person?
Night owl, and the older I get, the longer it takes for me to really get started in the morning...
Favorite day of the week?
Friday - ever since my school days - cause WEEKEND!!!
Favorite season?
Summer - I'm a sun addict, but not in the way that I love to spend every minute soaking it up, nope, I just love the way it lights up the world around us. And I'm pretty much a walking icicle from end of October to end of March ;)
