I admit that when we met Crowley for the very first time back in Season 5's "Abandon All Hope", I had no love at all for this character. Maybe his first appearance was shadowed by the dramatic events in that episode, but it surely had also something to do with the way he was presented to us - every ounce of him practically screamed "slimy eel of a salesman" (which he was at that time). From that point on, we saw him oscilliating between friend and foe for the Winchesters, always calculating, always the best outcome for himself as a priority. And yet, I'm getting more and more fascinated with his character, which is more due to Mark Sheppard's wonderful acting than the way he's written. Sure, he might be gone now, but to quote a famous British character - "Never say never", I think we haven't seen the last of the best King Hell ever had.
