That looks like a lot of fun, overall -- still tiring, I'm sure, but hopefully he had fun, too!

It definitely does! Apparently, the whole parade lasted for five hours, plus there was some party afterwards, but judging by the pics someone posted on LJ, he still had a blast at the party!

Well, he is used to long hours, so hopefully this was something he got to enjoy thoroughly!! ;-)
