One of my favorite things, in general, when it comes to DVDs are the gag reels. It's always a lot of fun to see (a) what kind of shenanigans are happening behind the scenes, and (b) that actors are just human beings that mess up scenes, no matter how many times they are repeating it XD So, what to expect when a show is called "Supernatural"? Out-of-this-world loads of fun, of course! ;) Even back in Season 1, our boys were already Comedy Gold, though Jared was definitely the bigger clown between the takes (Jensen just had to warm up to that all!). screencaps used in this batch: all capped by myself back when I got the DVDs (and that's what makes me pretty proud of how these icons turned out with a bit of TLC, powered by PhotoScape)
B&W, AC03: Sarah Blake was one of my favorite female characters in Season 1, mostly because she's (a) pretty cool about the boys' true profession, and (b) not a damsel in distress for the better part of the episode (compared to other female guest stars in that season). Additionally, she's the only one to be featured three times in this gag reel, so I had to incorporate her somehow (not to mention she's so pretty!)
center: We had no further explanation to this one, so I came up with this (compared to the perfect fitting suits our boys wear these days in the show, they really had a lousy tailor back in Season 1 XD)
favorite color: blue is, pretty much as long as I can remember, a favorite color of mine (must be something about a clear blue sky, or so), and Dean is wearing a blue shirt in this scene.
goofy: the boys are a pair of really goofy, crazy monkees, but finding a good cap was a challenge of its own... XD Finally, Jared's expression from the end of the gag reel won.
in motion: pretty much the same as "goofy", but I finally settled on Jensen's kung fu moves after being waken up rather harsh XD
laughter: I probably could have settled on one of the boys laughing (see AC01 and some of the alternatives below), but once I saw this wonderful laughter coming from JDM, I just had to use it
cat03: Hallelujah, if these two would preach at my church, I would sit through every single mass... XD
