Once in a while, I like to snatch myself a real challenge when it comes to iconing. Not that usual rounds at my various icon communities aren't challenges in their own right, but sometimes, it needs a bit more. Like sorting various characters from Supernatural into the four houses of Hogwarts. Sounds easy? Yeah, well, maybe on a first glance. But add in the fact that I didn't know squat about these houses before this challenge, and that there are way too many characters in the Supernatural universe to fill only five slots, and you'll see my side ;). I know that there are various characters that could fit into at least two houses, and most of them iconed have displayed traits fitting for almost all four houses. But I focused on the general image I get when I hear the name, and so Ellen, for example, ending up in Hufflepuff than rather in Gryffindor is because I saw her more as the supportive, loyal backup character than the fighter (though she's definitely one, no doubt!). And Jody, with everything she's been through since we first met her, fits the bill of a true Gryffindor far more better.
Inspiration for most of my sorting came from "The Goblet of Hellfire", as well as a bunch of Pinterest/Tumblr posts
