Another day, another art post! This one's here is for "Happy Endings" by the wonderful babybluecas. Little warning here: don't get fooled by the title. While it ends on quite a hopeful note, the road there is anything else than a happy one. Anyway, these artworks were created for the Dean Winchester Big Bang 2019. Enjoy!

My lovelies, it's Big Bang time again! This post, made for this year's spn_j2_bigbang, marks not only my first participation in this specific Big Bang, but also my first artworks for a Wincest story. I managed to snaffle the story "Finding Your H(e)aven" (LJ Masterpost) by the wonderful winterwolke. As it turned out in our first contact, we both are German native speakers, so communicating was a lot of fun (not that conversing with you all in English isn't!). We really had a good way of talking to each other, discussing not only the story itself (which I really love to pieces), but different other things concerning the BB as well. Steffie, thank you for having me as your artist!! *padahugs*

*wipes brow* It's finally, finally done! Here's my artwork for pherryt's wonderful story "So Am I" for this year's DWBB.

I claimed the story in the second round of claiming, and from the moment I opened the first chapter, I was hooked. She writes Dean in an absolutely wonderful way. The story revolves around an incident that happens to him at a party, and that will change his life (and that of his nearest and dearest) irrevocably. Without spoilering you all, let me tell you that you will see Dean at his lowest, but also, towards the end, on the mend, mostly thanks to the unconditional love (in every flavor) he gets from his ragtag family. Please read it, you definitely won't regret it! And now *insert drumroll*

Written for Round 1 of the Harlequin Big Bang over at story_works. Inspired by the following prompt: “Character A is a famous pirate captain. His only goal in life: revenge. He wants to ruin to man who ruined him. One day Character B falls into his hands. He’s the son of the man he’s sworn to ruin. During the next weeks and some difficult situations, B feels more and more desire for A. Will he be able to make A forget his revenge or will B even help him?” Of course, my mind immediately went to our favorite cop / thief duo, though this time, the tables are a bit turned ;) Enjoy!

Warnings: Character Death(s), Graphic depiction of violence, mention of rape (of a female character) and of implied underage rape (of a male character), Period-typical racism, sexism and homophobia

Not betaed at the moment, and still in progress. I will add chapters and fix those already posted as I get them back from my lovely beta sherylyn.
