Sad news: Diahann Carroll, the wonderful actress that played June Ellington in the six seasons of "White Collar", has died at the age of 84 years, due to cancer. Here are two videos of her on the show

1) the fateful Goodwill shop meeting

2) the surprising duet that not only left Peter and Elizabeth speechless

RIP, Mrs. Carroll, you're surely be missed.

Folks, I finally made it! *wipes brow* My entry for this year's Advent event over at whitecollarhc just wouldn't come together. I had to ditch three attempts on writing a story (they all resemble tangled Christmas lights XD), but finally, my brain was deep enough in the festive mood to shake out this story with our favorite con man and his own little family. Enjoy!

Now that Phase 9 of gameofcards is over, I thought it would be nice to show you all the various artworks I've done for the challenges. A phase runs approximately 3 months and is filled with tons of fun! (you'll never believe how much creativity is hidden in yourself!) Warning: IMAGE-HEAVY!!

Special - Joker Challenge

For this challenge, issued by our awesome mod kitty, we had to spread our wings (so to speak). There were games (like doing a labyrinth, finding words, do a quiz, a puzzle, or coloring a page), we had to post screencaps, do icons, sigtags, and last but not least, one big graphic - with all artworks somehow linked to the landcomm's general theme of card games.

Team Battles

Next to the regular challenges, that are open to all members of all teams, each team can issue a so-called "battle" in order to get more points (most likely to happen among the first two teams). Usually, these battles are themed, but what you do with that theme, it's solely up to you.
