Summary: In the wee hours of the night, a new father has a one-sided conversation – and kind of an epiphany.

Notes: Written for Round 5 of runthecon and tjs_whatnot’s prompt “Silver Lining and Gold Dust Dreams”. Set either in an AU after Season 4 or post-series. Title comes from an old song by F.R. David. A belated birthday gift for my dear friend kanarek13. Enjoy!
