General Preferences
most of them fit both fics and fanart, though I have written them for writers

DO NOT WANT

- Non-canonical character death (especially, of course, in the pairings I requested, but also in general) - temporary character death is okay, but the "dead" character should be back with the others in the end (or at least the way back should begin to be paved)

- Funerals (comes from my RL abhorrence for them – too much bad emotion!) – visits to existing gravesites (with or without a heartfelt, one-sided conversation) are okay, though!

- Hurt without comfort

- Super dark!characters (accidental darkness (i.e. a character following another one in a manner that borders on stalking, but stays on the rather humorous side, especially if the followed character notices it early on and decides to play along) is okay, the same goes for using manners that are not exactly only on the good side to reach their goal ;)

- Character or ship bashing (If you can't stand a character/ship, please man up and contact the mods for a change)

- No discussion of real-life politics and the awfulness therein! The same goes for the pandemic and/or the Ukraine crisis, please. (mentioning it is okay, it just shouldn't be the main topic)

- Rape/non-con (dub-con is okay to a certain degree - if you're not sure, please reach out)

- Breakup fic (you can break them up, but bring them back together in the end)

- Characters being shown as dumb / demoted in their intelligence / reduced to being just a "tool" in someone else's belt.

- No sexual situations with underage characters. Please age them up if you want to create something with them.

- for any A/B/O tags – no characterization of omegas as “birth machines” or demoting them their basic human rights

- When writing characters with a disability (in canon/temporary) – please don’t picture that disability as a handicap (e.g. a blind character that has to completely rely on other people to get the most basic things in live done). A lot of disabled people in RL have adapted and live a wonderful, rich life like any other, so please keep that in mind.

- Another absolute No-Go for me: ANY form of racism, misogyny, discrimination because of sexual orientation, gender, religion or color (not even a trace of it, please!).

Smart characters!
Or (at least) being competent in what they are doing, even when they know there might be consequences (can also be used as a kink!)

Idiots in Love!
Which means for me the characters are pining for each other without knowing the other's true feelings, and usually realize it later on (with or without some helping hands!)

Everybody's Alive!
Most of my fandoms have their share of sad-ending relationships (in any flavor), so if you can give me some happy ending, with nobody dying (as noted above, temporary deaths are okay), and with as much fluff as you can, I'm (more than) good!

Romance Tropes!
I'm pretty much game for almost all of them XD (if written in a good way), but I have kind of a soft spot for the following: friends with benefits (that might evolve into something more serious), slight jealousy/possessiveness (not over the top display, please, but simple gestures/words are okay - as long as both partners can laugh about it afterwards, you're good), Cuddling (works also on the friendship front), Misunderstandings (as long as they are clarified and don't drive a wedge between the characters), Fake Dating (that evolves into real dating), Fake Marriage, A/B/O (in a way that doesn't display omegas as birthing machines only/demotes them to humans with no rights whatsoever), Bed Sharing (both at the beginning of a love relationship or friendship), Meet-Cutes (and Meet-Uglys that get turned around)

AUs!
Don't get me wrong, I love my fandoms just right as they are (in terms of setting/time and all that jazz), but I love reading about the characters in a different time/setting. Favorites include: Space AU, Modern AU (for any fandom that's usually set in an earlier time frame - vice versa for any modern setting fandom), Band AU

Working relationships!
In a way where the characters have managed to have an established relationship while working in the same field (for example cops, or FBI agents), probably despite the misgivings of their bosses, but now they have to live with the "consequences" aka the emotions that threaten to take them over when the other half is in a dangerous situation (and yes, they know each other better, but especially when one of them is known for reckless behavior, they can't help but worry, most of the time to the slight amusement of their colleagues)

Case fics!
Be it within the lines of the established fandom setting or in an AU, a clever written case, with some unexpected twists and turns and some mystery (that isn't too difficult to explain in the end), is very welcomed and enjoyed at this place!

Smut!
As I love to write whenever something like this letter comes up - I'm a big girl, so don't hesitate to go as smutty as you are comfortable with! First times are as perfect as new sides in an established relationship - as long as the characters are happy afterwards, I'm as well! For Artists: don't be afraid to show certain bits (both boys and girls) ;)

Crossovers & Fusions!
I usually request this in signups only if I have a slot free, but I’m always open for crossovers (even with fandoms I’m not so familiar with XD). The same goes for fusions (e.g. Neal Caffrey being an MI-6 agent like James Bond, maybe meeting him).

Music!
I'm a music aficionado at heart (with a heavy preference for music up until the early 1990's), a huge Bon Jovi fan, but if you can incorporate any song out there, feel free to broaden my horizon, so to speak. I also never say no to any kind/variation of Band AU/Musician AU.

Strong Female Characters!
That’s something that turned up on my radar rather recently XD I love independent characters in general, but there’s something about it in combo with a female character. And if they have a so-called “weak” moment, it’s either because they chose it themselves, or that they feel comfortable enough in the company of others to let their guard down.

There's definitely more to these lists, but these are my absolute favorites (or dislikes). And I repeat once again: If you're not sure about anything, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Marvel Cinematic Universe

I love the MCU in general, and there are probably a handful characters that I can't stand (mostly the villains). My most favorite characters are Clint Barton and Bucky Barnes, with everyone else right behind them (to a certain degree with some characters, but that's more due to storytelling). Feel free to include certain aspects from the comics as well. I'm pretty much open for any pairings, as long as they are working for me (or you can explain it why these two characters are perfect together). Only exceptions are: Bruce/Natasha (as teased in Age of Ultron); Steve/Sharon (as implied in Civil War), Grandmaster/Loki (this is more on the fic side, I didn't get that certain vibe from the movie); any pairings that involve any of the bad guys (like Rumlow, or Rollins), I accept past relationships here, but no present ones. Natasha is and probably forever will be my queen in this fandom, but every single woman listed below is equally loved as well. Both Yelena and Kate took me by surprise, and while I haven't seen America Chavez in live-action (yet), I already love her, due to a computer game and a couple of fanfics XD

Star Wars Original Trilogy

For a very long time, I blocked myself from even getting interested (or invested) in the stories from the galaxy far, far away. Well, until this January. Then I finally took the plunge, bought all the DVDs and watched the entire saga. More on Trilogy 2 and 3 further below, but I finally understand why Leia Organa had and still has such an influence on young women – she’s a trailblazer, in more than one way. Sadly, we barely saw or heard anything about other women, so feel free to expand their stories to your heart’s content.

Star Wars Prequel Trilogy

Until this year the only trilogy I actually had seen (several times, even). And yes, now that I have watched the entire saga unfold, I get why a lot of people have problems with it. But still, the stories are entertaining enough, and I even managed to “snatch” me some favorites – Obi-Wan on the guys’ side, and the wonderful, tragic Queen and Senator of Naboo, Padmé Amidala, on the girls’ side. Again, feel free to expand the backstories for all the other mentioned women ;)

Alright, confession time, my dears: I had seen “The Force Awakens” when it hit the small screens for the first time, but truth be told, it didn’t really leave an impression on me XD That only happened now, in my great Star Wars binge XD Leia remains my #1 favorite female character, with Rey, Amilyn Holdo and Maz Kanata following. Rose, Paige, Jannah and Phasma are great as well, but I can’t remember Jessika for the life of me (can I blame it on another dashing Resistance pilot going by Poe Dameron? XD)

Truth be told, I know, like, nothing at all about this verse XD Still, one name caught my attention – Shara Bey. A quick trip to Google told me some things about her, but as someone who hasn’t seen any of the animated series nor read any comic (so far), I need to know more. Show me her adventures as a pilot, her juggling having a family with her duty, watching Poe growing up. Did she encourage him to follow in her footsteps and become a pilot as well? Did they spend time working on planes together? Anything goes, including AUs and canon divergences where Shara lives to see her son rising up the ranks and become a pillar of the Resistance.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

I love both “A Star Wars Story” movies pretty much the same, despite them being so different in their storytelling. What fascinates me the most about Rogue One is the fact that none of the heroes gets a happy end, gets to see what the Rebels did with the plans. Jyn is, despite them showing us parts of her backstory, a character with a lot more layers than we saw in the movie.

Same situation as with "The Clone Wars" here - haven't seen a single episode (yet), but already curious about the characters XD Favorite among the ladies is definitely Fennec Shand, and while I love what I have read so far about her, she's also on the list due to Ming-Na Wen, the actress that plays her and that I know since her days on "Emergency Room", but came to love when she was Melinda May on "Agents of SHIELD".

White Collar

White Collar was the first show to break me out of my purely SPN fandom way, and it made me fall in love with Matt Bomer (which in turn led to me exploring shows I never, ever would have thought of XD). Anyway, from the first episode I saw on, I was hooked on the characters, the storytelling, the practically non-existent violence, and most of all the fact that crime shows don't have to be gritty and full of gore and with characters on an eternal frustration loop to be entertaining. Sara is my absolute favorite female character, along with June and Diana. Elizabeth was up with them until Season 4, but that was more due to how she was written than to Tiffani Thiessen’s performance. Please no Kate Moreau and/or Rebecca Lowe/Rachel Turner (I love Bridget Regan, I just can't stand that character XD)
