favorite feature: Donovan can, in fact, be quite a badass if he wants (except when he's busy being a love-sick puppy). And seeing Matty wielding a gun like that is a treat for itself.

alive: As far as I have seen, he feels the most alive whenever he's around Elizabeth (despite the wacky nature of their relationship)

negative space: the already legendary dance scene from "She Gets Revenge"

unique crop: our pretty boy is prettying himself up a bit more (from "Checking In")

These are so very awesome, love them :D I'm actually looking forward to the blu-ray later this year, hopefully it will include some awesome behind the scenes stuff and maybe deleted scenes :D But in the meantime, there's so much to play with, hee :D

Also, how does he do it that even that eye close-up looks evil? :P

thank you!! Yeah, that's definitely Matty's awesome talent! XD when I saw that cap, I knew I had to use it somehow.

BTW, Amazon is having a steelbook edition of MMXXL available right now; don't know if there are any more extras or not, but the disc case alone looks awesome...

Ich komme grade vom Fernsehen. Da lief eine Dokumentation, von der ich nur die letzte Viertelstunde mitgekriegt habe. Sagt Dir ein Henry Howard Holmes aus Chicago was?

OMG es ist alles wahr! Der hatte so ein Horror-Hotel mit Geheimgängen und luftdichten Zimmern und ner Menge anderem Kram, sogar ein Krematorium und einen Sezierrraum im Keller. 200 Morde sollen auf sein Gewissen gehen. Ob das wohl das Vorbild für die Serie war?

yepp, sagt mir etwas. Dessen Geschichte war nämlich die Storyline in der Folge "No Exit" bei "Supernatural". Da haben sich die Jungs mit ihm in klassischer Winchester-Manier auseinandergesetzt XD Eine tolle Folge, so richtig zum Gruseln XD Und ich glaube, dass er definitiv Vorlage für James Patrick March war (der hatte ja auch allerlei Geheimgänge und -räume im Cortez eingebaut)

Faszinierend! Da muss ich mal meinen Bruder fragen, der guckt doch auch Supernatural. Und da sage noch einer, man lernt beim Fernsehen nichts.

Ich finde das so faszinierend, weil er ja weitgehend vergessen ist. Er ist jetzt nicht so berühmt wie andere Massenmörder. Das Hotel ist abgebrannt, und nichts erinnert mehr an ihn. Also wer auch immer die Idee zu der Serie hatte, muss vorher gründlich recherchiert haben.

Eine Serie gucken und sich gruseln ist eine Sache, aber dann zu lernen, dass alles wirklich war... brrr. Sie hatten sogar Zeitungsberichte von Frauen, die zur Weltausstellung nach Chicago fuhren und dann einfach verschwanden.
