Like some other guys, Stephen Amell had to grow on me. Back in the day, when they announced him as the star of "Arrow", I swore to myself that I would never, ever watch a single episode of it. Which was mostly due to the fact that at that time, Justin Hartley was the only possible choice for playing Oliver Queen to me (his portrayal on "Smallville" was fresh on my mind). But then the first episode aired in Austrian Free TV, and I was hooked. While the storytelling on the show is worth its own discussion (please not here!), I'm still somewhat baffled at the physical presence of Stephen. And I'm not to shallow to say that I would love to see more scenes on the salmon ladder! XD This batch was made for the current 20in30 round over at hush_your_icon. Enjoy!

I'm sorry; but Justin Hartley's Oliver will always be my Ollie. Nobody else.
I'll admit that Stephen Amell is aesthetically pleasing but I don't care for his version nor the show.

that's absolutely okay, you don't have to apologize for it XD To be honest, I feel the same about Justin's Oliver, but on the other hand I'm a very curious person, so just for that reason alone, to see how someone would play a character I associate in my mind with one certain actor, I turned the show on. And in the first five or six episodes of the show, I always replaced Stephen with Justin in my mind XD

These are lovely. Love negative space best prob, other faves are all the alts, and artist choice 2 and 10. For artist choice 3, I had to squint to see that was him - he looks so young! - nice find.

Yes, he was, and at least to me, they both can exist parallel. Justin's Oliver was the funny one with not only arrows but also a sassy remark in his quiver, while Stephen's version is hands down the darker one, the one that works with his demons. And yep, I had to check AC3 myself on a different site to be sure ;)
