1. What is your favorite scent or odor?
that actually depends on the season. In Summer, the scent of freshly mown grass is an all-time favorite. In Winter, you can get me everywhere with a mix of vanilla, orange and lemon, maybe with a bit of cinnamon or gingerbread in it. But in general, the smell of sauteed onions with parsley takes me back to Saturday mornings and my mother preparing her famous and unreachable (in taste) dumplings with sausage leftovers and onion as filling.
2. What is your favorite taste?
Again, depends on the season and is strongly linked with scent. In Summer, next to chocolate, vanilla and lemon ice, a freshly prepared bowl of cucumber salad (or potato salad with my mother's receipe), and I'm a very happy camper. In Winter, give me anything with chocolate (especially around Christmas), and you'll get the same result.
3. What is your favorite sound?
Hearing the birds singing outside my apartment. I have the luck to live on the outskirts of my hometown (which is not always how I see it XD), and close to our apartment building is a small forest, and thanks to that, we get a very early concert. Waking up to that sound is, hands down, the best sound ever.
4. What is your favorite texture?
I actually don't have a favorite texture, though I like to touch soft surfaces. The soft fur of an animal (live or stuffed), the soft touch of any piece of clothing right out of the washing basket... I could go on and on, and the list would never end.
