My dears, it finally has happened - in my fourth year participating in the Small Fandoms Big Bang, I finally got to snaffle an "Almost Human" story. As some of you know, it's one of my favorite small fandoms, and I was actually burning to do some artwork for it!! As some of you might know already, when I'm a fan of an actor, I usually know more than one character they played and have seen them in various movies and TV shows. Jeremy Renner is one of those where this fits, and so, whenever the SFBB starts a new round, I'm on the lookout for other characters he played to show up. For the second time in a row, I managed to snaffle a story with "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters" as one of the fandoms \O/ This time, my lovely author spikedluv paired it with the comedy show "The New Adventures of Christine", which I knew from the title, but not much else. And so it was quite a surprise when I got her story "Cursed" and found out that the guy who played Christine's ex-husband Richard is none else than Clark Gregg, better known as Agent Phil Coulson from the MCU XD Clint/Coulson in an AU ;)

My dears, the time has come to present you my second entry for this year's smallfandombang. And like my first set of artworks, this here is, in my humble opinion, equally ambitious.

The second story I claimed is called "Broke Off A Dark Twig", beautifully written by the wonderful kat_lair, and, most important for me, set in the "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters" fandom. Which is exactly the movie that made me a Jeremy Renner fan XD Quick recap for those of you who haven't seen it: It's your well-known pair of fairy-tale siblings all grown-up and out there, hunting all the things that go bump in the night. Technically, the Steampunk edition of "Supernatural" XD

Folks, I finally FINALLY can share the first of my two most ambitious artposts (so far) with all of you. As we all know, Big Bang season is well underway, and while others are about to gear up and get started, the Small Fandoms Big Bang 2018 is already about to end. Since we had such a small number of artists, we were allowed to claim two stories, and I managed to claim two that are not only set in fandoms with some of my favorite actors, but also exceptionally well written.

The first up now is "The Inevitability Of Us", for the "Political Animals" fans. Never heard of it? Well, me too, until last December or so. Then I "discovered" Sebastian Stan for me, and subsequently all the other roles he has played so far (next to Bucky Barnes). And so, I also landed on the mini-series called "Political Animals", where he plays TJ Hammond, son of a former US President and the current Secretary of the State (and former First Lady). If you get the chance to watch it somewhere, please check it out! Sadly, there are only six episodes, but these six are another proof that (a) Seb is one very talented actor and (b) that back in the day, USA Network knew how to do a well-balanced drama show.
