Three words I would use to describe this character: fighter, caregiver, protector
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Parker, Hardison, Sophie, Maggie, Quinn
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Eliot/Nate
My unpopular opinion about this character: In more than one episode, TPTB reduced Eliot to "the muscle" of the operation, with no real input into the con itself. And while I enjoy the fighting scenes, I love to see new sides on my favorite characters, like we got it in "The Tap Out Job", "The Big Bang Job" (where we finally got some insight in one of Eliot's most defining parts of his past) or "The Studio Job".
One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon: "That's actually two XD One: that we would have got more of Eliot the planner/retrival specialist (like he did in "The Zanzibar Marketplace Job", where he took over so nicely)
Second: more of his singing (I just love Chris Kane's voice, and "The Studio Job" was a bit to less for me!)
My het ship: Eliot/Parker
My fem/slash ship: Eliot/Hardison, Eliot/Quinn
My OTP: Eliot/Parker (two characters with unique backgrounds, or as Eliot himself puts it so eloquently in the Season 4 opener: "The two of us, we do things they can't.")
My OT3: Eliot/Parker/Hardison
My crossover ship:
Eliot/Neal (the two of them would make a damn fine team, especially since both of them are not quite fond of guns and both actors are from Texas!)
Eliot/Raylan Givens (Justified) - would love to see Eliot talking (or insert favorite method of getting out) his way out of facing the gun-toting US Marshal
Eliot/Oliver Queen (Arrow) - I only say fighting scenes!

thank you! Eliot is my favorite character in the show, and these three words were the first on my mind when I wrote it down on paper. As for the crossovers: I know that in "Arrow", they have introduced Ted Grant/Wildcat in Season 3 - Chris would have made an excellent Wildcat, at least in my opinion (haven't seen S3, so I can't say anything about the guy actually playing Ted Grant)

You're so right about the writers not using enough of Eliot's other talents to help with the jobs, he is so much more than just the muscle! Loved the singing, but also that he's an excellent cook! Always makes a character more interesting to have sides to him one wouldn't expect ^_^

And Eliot/Neal, ♥! I actually tried finding fics for the pairing, but none really hit me as I would have liked :/ But there's definitely so much potential there ;)

Wes, my British darling!

Three words I would use to describe this character: Nerdy, clumsy, tragic
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Fred, Angel, Cordy
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Wesley/Spike (two brits); alternatively: Wesley/Gunn, Wesley/Lorne (these two had way too less scenes together)
My unpopular opinion about this character: it's less about the character than about TPTB. While Wes definitely had his great scenes/moments over the course of the show, it seemed to me that they had no real idea of what to do with him for the better part of the first four seasons (with Season 3 and all that conundrum being the lowest low for Wes). Then in Season 5, they finally get a bit of storyline (even with a glimpse into his background) done - only to crush it in the next moment under the heel of an ancient goddess. Argh! His end in the finale was tragic, but it also felt a bit as a salvation for him.
One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon: That he and Fred would have got their happily ever after, without all that "hell breaking loose" chaos in L.A.
My het ship: Wesley/Fred
My fem/slash ship: Wesley/Angel
My OTP: Wesley/Fred (only minus point is that it was way too short-lived)
My OT3: Wesley/Angel/Spike (we know that the two vamps were some lotharios in their hay days)
My crossover ship:
Wesley/Mozzie (both of them are likely to pay attention to details and love research)
Wesley/Sam Winchester (both of them are good fighters, know their way around the supernatural, and very resourceful)

Aww I sooo wish he and Fred had ended happily too. I still can't believe they got all of five minutes of dating happiness before the mayhem :(

Hee, I can definitely see those crossovers!

Good thing you do! XD

Three words I would use to describe this character: maddingly handsome, rogue, charming
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Peter, El, Sara, Alex
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Neal/Mozzie, Neal/June (she's the mother figure he absolutely needs in his life)
My unpopular opinion about this character:
If Neal has a weakness, it's women. Pre-series, he ended up in prison for getting Kate back. In Season 1, he kept looking for her, even though Peter warned him about it. Season 2 and his quest for the loot almost got Alex killed. The next two seasons were an up/down, hot/cold period in regards with Sara, resulting in her practically fleeing to London. In Season 5, he all but walked blind into the trap Rebecca Lowe/Rachel Turner had laid out for him. But the absolutely worst thing about our favorite conman is that, whenever he messes something up, he manages to create an even bigger mess while cleaning the first one up.
One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon:
That he would have got his freedom back without having to take to such drastic measures as he did in the finale (and subsequently seeing his namesake growing up)
My het ship: Neal/Sara
My fem/slash ship: Neal/Peter, Neal/Jones, Neal/Keller
My OTP: Neal/Peter
My OT3: Neal/El/Peter
My crossover ship:
Neal/Ezra Standish (The Magnificent Seven) - the two of them have a lot in common, even though they live in different times: both men are blessed with an almost unnatural sense of fashion; both of them are making a living with conning other people; both of them get a turn towards the straight and narrow by their friends; and since the M7 fandom came up with a modern day AU called ATFM7, wherein Chris and the boys are ATF agents in Denver, a crossover would be really possible (tough I think both Chris and Peter are not going to be happy about their resident troublemakers meeting!)
Neal/Jarod (The Pretender) - they both can assume almost every identity out there with nearly no effort, so seeing these working a job together would be quite awesome

Awesome answers, thank you! \o/

I couldn't agree with you more on Neal's weakness being women. Somehow he loses his edge with them, makes mistakes. I think it has something to do with his need to be loved, but he can't really find in women what he finds in Peter—someone who sees the good in him despite everything he's done, and with whom he doesn't have to pretend to be anything else than what he truly is. Even if he still keeps lying to Peter occasionally :)

And the series ending really broke my heart, poor Neal! They tore him away from everything he had come to know and love, including those people who had helped him become a better man. I don't care that he got his freedom, because it meant he lost his family. I have to believe that eventually Peter went and found him again, and somehow things got sorted out so they could all be together again.

Oh, and I've watched a couple of episodes of the M7, and I can see why you would see Neal/Ezra as a pairing :) (It's been really hard to find the series anywhere, the vids on youtube ar not the best quality... But I can see all the slash potential there! \o/)

Three words I would use to describe this character: Snarky, funny, badass
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Sam, Daniel, Kerry Johnson (from Season 8)
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Jack/Teal'c
My unpopular opinion about this character:
Maybe it was the writing, maybe it was just a bout of bad acting, or RDA was tired of the character after 7 years, but my least favorite season in regards of Jack is Season 8. He was, most of the time, way too snarky, too cynic for my liking, and his indecisive way around Sam and his feelings for her didn't win me over either.
One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon:
That a) TPTB would have brought Cam Mitchell as acting CO of SG-1 in Season 8 and Jack would have been a special guest star (as he was in Seasons 9 & 10 - where I enjoyed seeing him again, especially in Season 10's "The Shroud"). And b) that he would have made his mind up about his feelings for Sam after all and confessed them to her.
My het ship: Jack/Sam
My fem/slash ship: Jack/Daniel
My OTP: Jack/Sam
My OT3: Jack/Sam/Daniel (like Peter Burke, Jack has a thing for smart people, he just knows how to hide it)
My crossover ship:
Jack/Jack Malone (Without A Trace) - two guys who not only share their Christian name, but also a mean streak of snarkyness
Jack/Leroy Jethro Gibbs (NCIS) - while Jack is more of an older edition of DiNozzo (with his being quick bored ouf of his mind and such), I think he and Gibbs would link somehow, if only through their military background
Jack/Peter Burke - both of them have a partner who's always up to some shenanigans; these four together - New York City, watch out! (there's actually a story out there about a meeting of them four, if I find it again, I'll post the link here)
