Date: 2015-04-08 12:18 pm (UTC)I couldn't agree with you more on Neal's weakness being women. Somehow he loses his edge with them, makes mistakes. I think it has something to do with his need to be loved, but he can't really find in women what he finds in Peter—someone who sees the good in him despite everything he's done, and with whom he doesn't have to pretend to be anything else than what he truly is. Even if he still keeps lying to Peter occasionally :)
And the series ending really broke my heart, poor Neal! They tore him away from everything he had come to know and love, including those people who had helped him become a better man. I don't care that he got his freedom, because it meant he lost his family. I have to believe that eventually Peter went and found him again, and somehow things got sorted out so they could all be together again.
Oh, and I've watched a couple of episodes of the M7, and I can see why you would see Neal/Ezra as a pairing :) (It's been really hard to find the series anywhere, the vids on youtube ar not the best quality... But I can see all the slash potential there! \o/)
