Back in 2009, when the first movie of the Relaunch opened in the cinemas, it really passed me by. The names on the credits list didn't ring any bell at all (except for Simon Pegg, who I vaguely remembered from Mission Impossible, and JJ Abrams). And I grew up with Star Trek: TNG, so while Kirk, Spock and Co. were the OTC (One True Crew) for millions out there, I was more inclined toward Picard, Riker, and their fellow crew members.
Flash forward to several years later, when, as in many cases with me, my local TV station aired the first movie. Guess what? I not only enjoyed the acting and the storytelling, I also had to realize that I was wrong about NOT knowing any of the cast. Anton Yelchin (Chekov) had two very memorable (at least for me) guest roles on both "Without A Trace" and "Criminal Minds", and the guy playing Dr. McCoy turned out to be the one who played Eomer in "Lord of the Rings" XD Speaking of Mr. Urban - he definitely left an impact with me with his portrayal of the iconic Doctor "Bones" McCoy. And while I (still) haven't seen any full episodes of the original series, I like to think that he did a great job. This set was made for Round 2 over at icons10in20. Enjoy!

So many choices for the anger box, poor grumpy Bones! I can't ever actually finish one of these tables, I think it's so neat when people do. : ) I like the one where he's with Kirk running through the red forest. That's one of my favorite visuals. Good work!
