After all the artposts for the various big bangs, I thought it would be a nice change to do a set of icons ;) To make it even more interesting, I gave myself a bonus challenge, so to speak. I wanted to a set without using any caps/promo stills for a movie or TV show. And so you get almost 30 icons of Seb Stan, all made from various photoshoots and public appearances. This batch was made for Round 6 of icons10in20. Enjoy! PS: the text for the LJ-cut is courtesy of the fandom ;)

Next to "Civil War", "The Winter Soldier" is, hands down, my favorite movie out of the whole MCU. Why? Because it's not your classic superhero movie. Sure, it has enough elements we know and love from this genre (the sidekick, the villains, the love interest,...), but Joe and Anthony Russo made a quite genius move to put all these elements into a story that reminds more of a political thriller than of a superhero movie. Subsequently, we see our hero, Steve Rogers, only two times in his costume - the more time we see him in civilian clothes. This set was made for Round 3 over at icons10in20. Enjoy!

Back in 2009, when the first movie of the Relaunch opened in the cinemas, it really passed me by. The names on the credits list didn't ring any bell at all (except for Simon Pegg, who I vaguely remembered from Mission Impossible, and JJ Abrams). And I grew up with Star Trek: TNG, so while Kirk, Spock and Co. were the OTC (One True Crew) for millions out there, I was more inclined toward Picard, Riker, and their fellow crew members.
Flash forward to several years later, when, as in many cases with me, my local TV station aired the first movie. Guess what? I not only enjoyed the acting and the storytelling, I also had to realize that I was wrong about NOT knowing any of the cast. Anton Yelchin (Chekov) had two very memorable (at least for me) guest roles on both "Without A Trace" and "Criminal Minds", and the guy playing Dr. McCoy turned out to be the one who played Eomer in "Lord of the Rings" XD Speaking of Mr. Urban - he definitely left an impact with me with his portrayal of the iconic Doctor "Bones" McCoy. And while I (still) haven't seen any full episodes of the original series, I like to think that he did a great job. This set was made for Round 2 over at icons10in20. Enjoy!

A new icon challenge community has opened, and for its first round, I decided to do another Sebastian Stan character - Jefferson aka the Mad Hatter from the first two seasons of "Once Upon A Time". I must confess that I haven't seen a full episode with him (yet), but from some YT videos, the character seems to be interesting. Anyway, this batch was made for Round 1 over at icons10in20. Enjoy!
