Marvel Reverse Big Bang 2021

My darlings! Until this year, I always avoided Reverse Big Bangs as an artist, thinking that my art (or whatever you call it) wouldn't be worth of claiming. Well, this year, I took the plunge and submitted two pieces each to the CapRBB and the WinterHawkRBB (posting later this year). And while the claiming process is doing nothing good to my nerves, the result is simply perfect. *inserts drumroll* Ladies and Gentlemen, I proudly present: "Sweet Star Of Mine", a co-production with the one and only Chiyume. Carro, my darling, it was a blast to work with you on this and I hope we'll meet again on another Bang! *tacklehugs* As per usual, I won't spoil the story for you, but I promise you'll gonna love it!

And now, on with the (art) show!

Is love in the script as well? )

And now please head over to the story and leave my author some love!

And here's artpost No. 3 ;) The second story I claimed in this year's Captain America Big Bang is actually one that doesn't have our favorite Brooklyn Boy(s) in the focus, but my favorite het pairing in the MCU instead - Clint Barton & Natasha Romanoff. But don't fret, "Gone Fishin'", written by Mari_Knickerbocker, has Bucky, Steve, and a slew of other MCU characters on board (pun intended!) for everyone to enjoy.

As you all already know, I won't spoil the story for you. Instead, I want to thank my author for the wonderful collab we had going. I'm a bit sad to see this road end here, but who knows, maybe we'll meet again at another Big Bang! Thank you, Courtney, for being an immense joy to work with, for sharing not only your story, but also some RL with me, and last but not least becoming a friend! *tacklehugs*

And now - on the with the art show! *inserts drumroll*

Things that happen in Elk Cove, Oregon... )

Again, I hope you like what you see! And now, please head over to the story and leave my author some love, too!

Apologies for not having a longer text, but (1) I have to watch the movie first (only worked with the screencaps), and (2) even though that, my emotions are still all over the place! Only thing that I realized: both Steve and Rocket had to watch for a second time in their lifetime their best friend die (or should I say fade away?) in front of them, unable to do anything. If that's not unfair, I don't know! This set was made for Round 2 over at [livejournal.com profile] disney20in20. Enjoy!

Next to "Civil War", "The Winter Soldier" is, hands down, my favorite movie out of the whole MCU. Why? Because it's not your classic superhero movie. Sure, it has enough elements we know and love from this genre (the sidekick, the villains, the love interest,...), but Joe and Anthony Russo made a quite genius move to put all these elements into a story that reminds more of a political thriller than of a superhero movie. Subsequently, we see our hero, Steve Rogers, only two times in his costume - the more time we see him in civilian clothes. This set was made for Round 3 over at icons10in20. Enjoy!

We're in the homestretch, so to speak, until the launch of "Avengers: Infinity War" (not even three weeks now), and of course, Marvel dishes out some new promotional material. Though this time, they excelled themselves (or almost XD). I can't really remember all the character posters we got over the last 10 years, but I like to think that (at least) this first set is exceptional beautiful.

Blue & Purple... )

Stunning, aren't they? Well, there's still some gaps left *cough* Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Loki *cough*, but overall, I love that Marvel knows how to treat the fans. Oh, and speaking of... here's a second set (don't know if it's official or not, found them on IMDB in a poll), but still, these are equally gorgeous, and I especially love the comic vibe coming from them.

Back to the roots... )

EDIT: just found these two gifs here, and I just couldn't NOT share them with you <33 Isn't it nice to finally see both of them smiling?

In other news, watch this place for a new art post coming this Friday (13th)!

First things first - thank you all so much for the wonderful birthday messages that filled my inbox (both here and on LJ) today. I felt very much loved by you all, and my heart is still trying to calm down from the joy you brought to me. Once again, thank you all so much for them; every message will be saved and treasured for eternity, promise!

But what kind of birthday gal would I be if I wouldn't share a bit of "virtual" birthday cake with you all? I didn't get most of it explicit today, but it all came together just right on time.

Here's some cake! )

Guess which one is my favorite out of these five? XD Though I gotta say, Chris Hemsworth looks mighty fine as Thor, too. Now, all this gal needs is a physical proof that my favorite archer is also part of this intergalactical "party", and I'm a very camper. Alas, there's more to come about Infinity War, but I have to sort through it first. So be prepared!

Ever since her unforgettable first appearance in "Iron Man 2", Natasha Romanoff aka "Black Widow" has piqued my curiosity. Over the course of the next few movies in the MCU (Avengers, Captain America: The Return of the Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron) we learned some tidbits about her past, got another side of her connection with fellow Avenger Clint Barton presented, and most of all, saw her in all her glory as a kick-ass fighter. This batch was made for Round 9 over at [livejournal.com profile] gents20in20. Enjoy!

Stunning Redhead this way... )

For the actual round over at [livejournal.com profile] females20in20, I chose Scarlett, since I love her versatility, both in her acting credits and photoshoots. You have to look at least twice in some pictures to recognize her. Enjoy!

As always, comments are more than appreciated, as well as hints for making them better.
If you take them, please give credit where it's due.
