Summary: Sara ponders her life, and the different kinds of games people can play.

Notes: Written for Round 3 of [livejournal.com profile] runthecon and the prompt "the games people play", given to me by the ever awesome [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13. Set in the gap year of the finale (and afterwards), but reflects back to events in earlier seasons and pre-series. Some events mentioned in there will be addressed in another story I’m writing at the moment (for [livejournal.com profile] wcpairings, so I can’t say too much about it).

As [livejournal.com profile] selenic76 put it so nicely in her last entry, fic recommendations can be a wonderful portal to a new fandom world. Now, Leverage is not new to me, not at all, and like with White Collar, the post-series stories are probably the best ever, since the possibilities their lives could have developed are pretty much endless.

This story is just this side of sweetness, with the typical traits fans associate with Eliot, Parker and Hardison spot on, only in smaller packages. (No, not a de-age fic!)

Just go and read it!

just something I whipped up last night when the plot bunny provided by [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 (both her post of screencaps and a comment on that entry) wouldn't let go of me. A heartbroken Neal finally realising where, or better to whom, he belongs.

It was a rainy day in Paris... )

I finally finished both of my entries for the WC Reverse Big Bang, and honestly, I'm glad. While it was one kind of a blast, I was thrown into a loop by a sudden bout of writer's block quite in the middle, and that's just frustrating. But, as the saying goes, all's well that ends well (with a total word count shy below 40,000 words), and I can read the entries so far to this year's BB.

Even though it's for spn_j2_bigbang, there are some resources every writer, no matter what fandom he/she is in, should take into consideration!

We are getting closer to the author draft deadline and I know many people are looking for some extra motivation.

But first, it's been mentioned to me two separate times that people are reluctant to ask me (specifically) questions. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS. I want you to be successful and will do whatever is needed to make that happen. Just email spnj2bigbang@gmail.com -- I am here to help YOU.

To clear up a couple of things...yes, you can turn in your draft before May 1. (Please, please, PLEASE turn in your draft before May 1!!) In April, I will make a more detailed post about how to turn in your story and exactly what needs to be included. But in the meantime, here is the template from last year, which you still can use until the new one is posted.

Your story MUST be a complete first draft (NOT the same things as a final draft!!), with a beginning, middle and end, with no "insert scene here" placeholders and at least 20k words. No extensions will be given for any reason. It's May 1 or bust. OK?

Also, if you want to drop out, all you need to do is not turn in a May 1 draft. Easy-peasy!

Keep going guys, you so can do this!

As I said in the last paragraph under the cut, White Collar opened the doors to LiveJournal to me. And while there are bunches of journals out there dedicated to the show and/or its actors, here are some personal favorites of mine:

[livejournal.com profile] elrhiarhodan: the "Queen" of our fandom, the driving force behind so many activies, and the one with some of the most beautiful stories I've ever read in this fandom.

[livejournal.com profile] kanarek13: "Mistress of Arts"; her talent for creating actual works of art never cease to amaze me, and many a story had the honor to be graced by an artwork coming from her.

[livejournal.com profile] treonb: If you want to watch some really good fanvideos, please head over to this journal; they ewoke all different emotions, and all of them are done in high quality.

I hope you liked this entry. And if you have any questions about the show or think of a site out there that I should check out, please tell me in your comments.

The following is my first entry to [livejournal.com profile] selenic76's February Fandom Fest. Hope you enjoy it!

As for many others too, watching TV shows and series was an essential part of me growing up. My very first "fandoms" were the animated shows of the late 1970's and early 1980's, like "Heidi", "Nils Holgersson" and "Wickie". Later on, they were followed and/or substituted by shows like "Knight Rider", "Baywatch" or "John Jakes' North & South".

Check it out, I already signed up! It will be tons of fun!
    Dreams Are My Reality

Word count: 100 on the nose.

    Spoilers: not really

Summary: Dean realizes that dreams can be deceiving.

Notes: Written for spn_bigpretzel's „D.E.W. - Drabble Every Weekend" on LJ. Character prompt was Mary Winchester, theme prompt „sleep/dreams". Set at the beginning of Season 4. Title comes from a song by Richard Sanderson.

Disclaimer: Still haven't found the right spell to magically make them mine. *grabs the next book*

When he was a kid, Dean either dreamed of becoming a mechanic, like his daddy John, or he dreamed of angels. Sure, when you hear every night before you go to sleep that „Angels are watching over you", your mind tends to settle on that topic.

But now, after being rescued from Hell by an actual angel, Dean couldn't help but being a little bit disappointed. All through his childhood, he imagined angels as beautiful as his mother Mary, with kind eyes, a soft smile and long blond hair – which Castiel wasn't at all. Guess he could live with that.
I'm so excited! Finally got around to post something here!

Summary: He would do anything for Dean.
Notes: Set in late Season 7/AU to Season 8. Canon for the whole series, but no real big spoilers. If you know a bit of what is going on with the show up to now, you’re good to go and read it. Oh, and this is the first time I write Destiel, so please go easy on me. Originally planned and written for the random-fandom challenge “Every Picture Tells A Story”, but I forgot to find a beta on time.
Disclaimer: If they were mine, Dean and Cas would be an item on the screen. But a girl can dream, can’t she?
